STUDIO: EOYS CONCEPT

The concept I decided to play of within my end of year show branding was to visualise the transition period between being a student and graduating. I felt like this could be something I could visually communicate quite easily using typography, shape and colour. I decided by selecting a typeface that had obvious connotations of transition which I felt the typeface 'Messapia' did quite well. It came as a very elegant serif typeface with a bold option which transformed it into a large sans serif type. This transition was perfect for my concept.

I began playing with variations of this type to see its potential and different ways it could be used. This would help me push the design further onto other formats.
