After previous experiments with type I decided I wanted my *digital aspect/other touchpoint of the brief to be a type animation that could bring the 12" cover to life and also lend itself to its social media/online platform. Below are several song lyrics that I experimented with and animation techniques I used to see which ones worked well with the theme.
After reviewing my animated options I decided to stick with the type that illustrated the lyric 'caught in the rye' as this type clearly illustrated what was being said visually and verbally. I then experimented with this on the clouded background and decided that this background was way too busy when the animation goes along side it. I decided to strip it down to just one colour from this clouded design.
Below are some experiments I carried out with using vibrating boundaries. This involved using two colours that clashed so much that it makes it hard to read and skews the viewers eye site. This idea played with being lost again, however I didn't want to make the type completely illegible. After some consideration into the size of the type I decided to revert it back to its original scale. This still left space below the type alluding to the type being literally left lonely at the top of the document.
