STUDIO: DISAPPOINTMENT ZINE IDEA DEV
After reviewing my initial ideas for the project, I decided to combine aspects from two of my initial ideas. I wanted to create a zine that would publish the disappointing apologies I had received and somehow publish them in a way that left the reader feeling disappointed themselves after the read. This would be done by using abstract type setting to make it slightly trickier for the audience to read and understand it. It would take the reader on a difficult journey, just like I was taken on through the collaboration with these drop outs. I also considered using low quality imagery taken from somewhere that could look quite considered due to the quality of the typesetting. It's purposeful bad quality will represent the disappointment I initially received and make the reader ask the question, "why can't it be full quality?"
