I finally made the right placement on a mockup, prepared a negative for printing and tested creating the specific colour I needed for printing. I made a slight orange/peach which I took note of before I'd mix the actual ink.

STUDIO: RECORD LABEL TOTE BAG MERCH
I began to design Donkin Records merchandise by simply taking the previous J-card design and applying it to a tote bag. This is something the client decided he wanted for the tote bag due to the design being so successful as a laid out flat document. Before going through with this I offered a few other ideas for the bag for example a small logo print or large logo. I also experimented with just using a white ink to print or the previously selected peach to print the entire design with. The client was sure he wanted the whole bag to have the peach J-card print on it. I also agreed as usually tote bags use quite minimal designs just printing small logos and such so I felt this made it stand out a bit more.
